9/13/2022 – Somewhere between the 1st period of Oshawa’s preseason game in Guelph on Friday and the rematch at home on Sunday Brett Harrison was injured.
UPDATE: Harrison broke his fibula in September 9 game at Guelph. GM Roger Hunt estimates he could be back by October 23.
Although scoring late in the first period of Friday’s game he was scratched for the return match on Sunday. Then today when the Bruins announced their rookie camp roster Harrison’s name was listed with a double asterisk noting “**Injured/Will not attend rookie or main camp.”
There are few confirmed reports of the exact nature of his injury but it is a tough break heading into a season where he might have battled for a spot at making his professional debut.
Harrison signed his entry level contract with Boston this summer.
